About the team
Get to Know The Abbott Mary Team
The Abbott Mary Team is a group of licensed real estate professionals serving buyers, sellers, and investors throughout Knoxville and East Tennessee. We are based at 315 Ebenezer Rd SW in West Knoxville and affiliated with Capstone Realty Group.
Led by Abbott Mary, the team operates on a simple premise: real estate is a relationship business, not a transaction business. We are not transaction managers — we are advocates and advisors in what is usually the largest financial decision a family makes. We listen first. We communicate in plain language. And we do not stop pushing for the best possible outcome until the deal is closed.
Our clients come back to us and send us their friends and family. That repeat and referral business is, functionally, the entire business — which means we cannot afford to give anyone advice we would not give our own family.

What you get
What Working With Our Knoxville Realtors Looks Like
Straight answers about price
We bring you comps and market reality. If your number is wrong, you will hear it from us before the market tells you the expensive way.
Same-day communication
Calls and texts get returned the day you send them. You will know who you are working with and reach that person directly.
Negotiation after the offer
Most of the money in a transaction is won or lost during inspection, appraisal, and repair negotiation. That is where we work hardest.
Neighborhood-level knowledge
Which streets flood, which subdivisions have HOA problems, which school zones hold value, and what actually sold instead of what listed.
A network we stand behind
Lenders, inspectors, contractors, stagers, and closing attorneys we have worked with for years and use ourselves.
A relationship after closing
Contractor referrals, property tax questions, and value checks years later. We stay in touch because we plan to help you with the next one too.

Questions About Hiring a Knoxville Realtor
What is the difference between a realtor and a real estate agent?
Every Realtor is a licensed real estate agent, but not every agent is a Realtor. Realtor is a designation for members of the National Association of Realtors, who agree to a code of ethics and additional professional standards beyond state licensing requirements.
How do I choose the right Knoxville realtor?
Ask how many transactions they closed in the past twelve months, in your specific price range and area. Ask who will actually answer your calls. Ask for their list-to-sale price ratio and average days on market. Then read their reviews and talk to a past client.
Do you charge for an initial consultation?
No. Buyer consultations and seller valuations are free and carry no obligation. We would rather have an honest conversation now and earn your business when the timing is right.
Can you help me if I am relocating to Knoxville from out of state?
Yes, and we do it constantly. That includes video walkthroughs, area and school orientation, commute analysis, lender introductions, and remote closings.
What brokerage are you with?
The Abbott Mary Team is affiliated with Capstone Realty Group, located at 315 Ebenezer Rd SW in Knoxville, TN 37923.
